Mallorca airport -- Turism
Majorca or Mallorca, is the largest of Balearic Islands, and along with its sister islands of Menorca and Ibiza, lies in the Mediterranean Sea off the south east coast of mainland Spain. From long, golden beaches, tiny coves, mountains and remote villages to windmill-dotted plains; all year round enjoyment. Palma is the capital and occupies a seafront location. The old town has a cathedral and a maze of narrow streets. The views from Bellver Castle are breathtaking. There is a wide variety of bars, restaurants and nightlife in Palma. The Bay of Palma is the playground and consists of a crescent of white sand. On the western side of the island is Magaluf, the place to party, where clubs are open all night and parties don't stop. As a resort it also offers an outstanding sandy bay with watersports. Ample shops line the tightly-knit streets and a wide selection of bars and restaurants will keep everyone happy. Nearby Palma Nova is a popular and friendly resort, popular with families. It's curving sand and shingle beaches are kept clean and safe, with lots of watersports.

holes: 18 par: 71
The Valderrama Golf Club was the venue for the 1997 Ryder Cup, where victory fortunately went to the European team, but it is not this victory which gives the course its fame, but the spectacular round which makes the Valderrama the best course in Europe. Every last detail has been thought of and taken care of. The fairways were designed with the greatest of care and precision and contain over 100 bunkers. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and improvements have been carried out over the years due to the top-level competitions which have been hosted here. It is a spectacular course and only a lucky few manage to feel its fairways underfoot, as access is very restricted and exclusive. .
