Die Niederschlagsmengen sind je nach Gegend unterschiedlich. Der jährliche Durchschnitt schwankt zwischen 300 mm in niedrigen und 500 mm in höher gelegenen Regionen. All das hat - gemeinsam mit durchschnittlich über 300 Sonnentagen jährlich - dazu beigetragen, dass das Klima der Kanarischen Inseln als eines der weltweit angenehmsten gilt.

The Valderrama Golf Club was the venue for the 1997 Ryder Cup, where victory fortunately went to the European team, but it is not this victory which gives the course its fame, but the spectacular round which makes the Valderrama the best course in Europe. Every last detail has been thought of and taken care of. The fairways were designed with the greatest of care and precision and contain over 100 bunkers.
